Theories of Asian Architecture (ARC 60704)

The TAA module explores history of South, Southeast and East Asian architecture as a whole through key themes of sustainability, tradition and modernity & globalisation. The weekly lecture and projects will establish a basic theoretical apparatus to the examination of specific cases. Through research posters and oral presentation, students will develop understanding of Asian architecture and urbanism.
