Project 2: Model Making, Orthographic Drawings, Axonometric & Perspectives

Project task & overview:
Project 2a Model Making: To execute a 3D modelling projection of the Farnsworth house generated at a scale of 1:100 using model making materials, referring to orthographic drawings and documents for measurements and information.
Project 2b, 2c & 2d: to produce 2-dimensional drawings (plan, elevations and section) & 3-dimensional drawings (axonometric and perspective) using orthographic projections in three phases manually and continuously to explore manual projection methods in architectural drawing emphasizing on architectural conventions, symbols and line quality.

Reflection:
Throughout the project, I was able to illustrate architectural forms and spaces in the form of 3D Modelling as well as visualize and express space in the form of manual drawing as well as use
two-dimensional and three-dimensional orthographic drawings to interpret visual information. Furthermore, I had achieved the tgc of discipline specific knowledge by putting theories learnt into orthographic, axonometric and perspective drawings. Digital literacy and intrapersonal skills are also achieved as i learnt continuously and resiliently by making use of the information on the internet.
