Project 1: Design Esquisse – Disabilities Experience Pavilion
Project task & overview:
In this introductory exercise, we are to design a Disabilities Experience Pavilion that is meant to serve as a small recreational space in a hypothetical park for people with physical disabilities. 2. Each student group must choose the type of physical disability that they are designing for and demonstrate some investigation into the spatial needs of the chosen group of users. 3. The pavilion should be designed to allow this user group to participate in a set of recreational activities

Throughout this project, I have developed the awareness of environmental sustainability in architectural design and the ability to meet the imperative and inter-related environmental and social needs, as well as make poetry with materials and spaces.I have also developed understandings on human scale, proportion, ergonomics, and materiality and implemented the tgcs of interpersonal skills and communication skills by understanding team dynamics and communicated in all settings with my group members as well as discipline specific knowledge by putting theories of design learnt into practice.
