Project 1: Geometry and Form: Expressions through Architectural Design Elements & Principles [The Serial Geometric Tattoo Transformation]
Project task & overview:
To generate ideas, develop designs, create geometric 2D artworks and transform them into 3D form in order to have the basic understanding of the architectural design elements and principles.
Design intention:
My design intention is to translate 2D artwork into 3D models by applying design principles, elements, composition form transformation techniques as well as form manipulation skills.
Reflection
Throughout this project, I have learnt how to identify the key architectural design elements and principles and apply them in creating an architectural composition that demonstrates space-making. I have also implemented the tgcs of interpersonal skills and communication skills by understanding team dynamics and communicated in all settings with my group members as well as discipline specific knowledge by putting theories of design learnt into practice.
